Contributions to Entrepreneurial Growth
Entrepreneurs were asked to rate ten factors for the importance of their
contribution to the growth of the business. High-growth entrepreneurs
rated all factors significantly higher than did the low-growth entrepreneurs,
as shown in Table 3. Hypothesis 4 is
supported. Specifically, the three most important factors for high-growth
entrepreneurs were: The reputation or image/identity of the business,
available cash, and (tied for third in ranking) competent leadership and
product/service focus.
